Does my car need to run?
No, we operate tilt tray trucks which means your vehicle is on the back of the truck, not the road. Your car does not need to run or even operate in any capacity. Our experienced operators will pull your vehicle onto the tray with a winch and tie it down to secure your vehicle for its journey.
How big can you transport?
Our semi-tilt slide truck can carry anything weighing up to 22 tonne. We have a flat tilt trailer up to 14.5m. We also have a drop deck tilt tray with a bottom deck of 10 meters long and 2.4 meters wide to cater to different needs. Karratha Tilt Tray are proudly accredited for oversize moves if required.
My car is low, can it still be towed?
Yes, absolutely! Our trucks tilt and slide out to reduce the angle, depending how low or long your vehicle is, we can also bring ramps with us to reduce this angle further for loading and unloading.
Can you move sea containers?
Yes! We have multiple options to suit your needs. Our smaller truck is great for 20ft empty sea containers to maneuver into smaller places. Our mid range trucks can lift 20ft and up to 12 tonne loaded containers and our semi tilt is equipped to move 40ft sea containers and dongas. Do you need keys?
No, we d not specifically need keys to move your vehicle however keys are generally required for the repairer. We can gain access to locked vehicles if required. Keys help us to ensure we can get vehicles out of gear, handbrakes off and steering locks released for ease of loading and unloading.
How much notice do you need?
Karratha Tilt Tray have multiple roadside contracts. Generally speaking we organise our days via priority order, we do not like to leave people sitting on the side of the road and will attend as soon as available! Generally speaking, for small booked moves and around town we can facilitate timing the same or next day.
How long have you been doing this?
Karratha Tilt Tray and Towing started operating in 2012. Whilst our drivers like to joke that they are 'first time on the job' they are all highly experienced and have been with us for long periods of time.
Do you have a secure depot?
Yes! Karratha Tilt Tray and towing has been operating on Mooligunn Road in the Karratha Industrial are for the last 10 years but we have recently moved to continue expanding. We can now be found at 1117 Coolawanyah Road, Right on the corner of Mooligunn Road and Coolawanyah Road so you can't miss us!
